After experiencing a cancer treatment, it is normal that, like survivor, the person wants to turn to a good health.
But beyond the initial recovery, there are ways of improving the long-term health to enjoy the years ahead.
In general, the recommendations for a cancer survivor are not different compared from those who would be given anybody who wants to improve his health.
To do exercise, to eat a balanced diet, to support a healthy weight, to avoid the tobacco and to limit the quantity of alcohol that is drunk.
It is clear that for cancer survivors additional benefits exist. These steps help to improve the quality of life and facilitate the transition to a full routine character after the treatment.
Do exercise
The physical activity in regular form will increase his well-being after the cancer treatment and it can help to accelerate his recovery. The survivors who do physical activity obtain major fortitude, improve his defenses, have less signs of depression and anxiety, minor fatigue, few problems to sleep, better frame of mind and major self-esteem. With the idea of knocking down the barriers that prepare some persons to benefit from his services, Life With Cancer will offer his workshops in the county of Laudon, Virginia.
This way it was informed by Paulina Escobar, coordinating committee of Hispanic programs of the institution. “We want to finish some barriers that prevent the persons from gaining access to the services that we offer in our familiar center. The nursery schools of the United States are a new front line against the infantile obesity and an investigation of the University of Harvard shows that few states force to the places of that there take care infantes to adopt specific measurements of nutrition and of physical activity considered important to support in form the persons younger than five years.

Matos began to serve Hispanic plates with brown rice instead of white rice. The macaroons plate with cheese is prepared now with wholemeal flour pastas. Many of his children had never seen fruits as the kiwi and they had to be convinced so that they were proving them.
Two third parts of the Americans are obese or they have excessive weight and the problem begins at ages surprisingly early.
A study announced in April showed that almost one of the five four-year-old children was obese. The valuations are even more high between the Hispanics, the blacks and the North American natives, but the problem affects to all the ethnic and racial groups.
Nevertheless, the strict norms to improve the habits of health of the children in the nursery schools are not common. The researcher for the University of Harvard Sara Benjamin compiled a list of 20 regulations of nutrition and physical activity that the health specialists consider to be a key.
Between they are:
— At least 60 minutes of structured physical activity and another 60 minutes of free physical playtime.
— Not to allow the children to be seated during any more than 30 followed minutes.
— To serve to the children of two or more years of age only lean milk or with low fat content.
— Not more than 6 ounces (170 grams) of juice of fruit a day.
— Not to serve sugary drinks.
