The problem
Not therapeutic use of antibiotics in the animals does not mean that sick animals will not receive the necessary medicines, if their not not use of a preventive way. “One is giving them antibiotics only because there are many animals in the same place”, says Laura Rogers, director of the Campaign of Pew for the Human Health and Industrial Agriculture. “This is not a correct way of using a drug of the FDA”.

The effects

“ Really to protect you and to your family, you have to take a kitchen as an operations room”, says the expert.

The recommendations
The Doctor Lance Price, the director of the Center for Metagenómica and Human Health recommends the following measurements to protect the family:
- Buy animals meats 0que they have not been raised by antibiotics. There have no to be "organic" products, which are costlier, but it must indicate that the product should free this one from antibiotics. The tag “naturally raised” also uses the minimal number of antibiotics. But eye with the one that it indicates that the product is "natural", because this does not mean that it is more healthy.
- Communicate with his representatives and support measurements to eliminate or to limit the use of antibiotics in animals.
- Cook well all his food, especially the chicken, pig and meat. Between these three, the chicken is the one that can be more contaminated.

Doctor Aída Bejarano is the coordinating committee of the station, and she tells that the persons, after an evaluation of his needs, will be able “to find a primary medical center, or what we call medical hearth, as where they should live or should work and his conditions of eligibility, of way to help them to navigate the system, find services of preventive health and access to specialists”, he tells.

“ We are going to incorporate an educational program and cancer prevention as a whole into the American Society of the Cancer, which includes minichats, presentation of videos, educational group chats, intervention one to one, and promotion of access to preventive examinations to low cost or free, like papanicolau, mamografías, of prostate and of colon.
