Honestly I remained scandalized when this morning the first thing that The World of Spain attracted attention of me on having read the newspaper the titled article was: "Jesus died to the 40 and for fat person”. There is no right that for the opinion about only one presents itself millions of believers in the entire world let's pay the consequences and even more that takes offense to our center of faith, as he it is Our Mister Jesus Christ.
The article says that an Israeli humorist has put in war foot the catholic community of Holy Land. The Bishops have protested energetically against a humorous program of the channel Israeli 10 for his “disgusting attacks” against Jesus and the Virgin. The humorist Yair Shlein had affirmed at the beginning of week in his program that “if the Christians deny the holocaust, then I deny the Christianity. Someone must give them a lesson”.
Across small parodies, the popular presenter went so far as to say that “Jesus died at the age of 40 and because it was fat”, that “did not walk on the waters” and that “Virgin Mary remained pregnant at the age of 15 for a schoolmate”.

For the Bishops, these attacks are framed “in a wider context of continuous attacks to the Christianity from Israel”, and remember that “only a few months ago, the copies of the New Testament were burned publicly in the courtyard of a synagog of Oyehuda”, close to Tel Aviv.
“ For years, the Christianity has done big efforts to fight the anti-Semitism, but now they are the Christians of Israel those who are victims of a latent anti-Christianity”, he tells the bulletin. When writer Salman Rushdie extracted to the public light the satanic poems, the whole Moslem people protested, but when they attack to the Christianity sadly our people neither express themselves nor react.
We cannot allow to keep on attacking the God's Son when already very much against The done ha the humanity. It is a brotherhood time, between Jews, Palestinians, Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Protestants, that we teach to respect and to defend the faith as our big treasure.
