It is good to remember the desire of the change of almost 80 per cent of the Salvadorans, before the past elections, who tired of the economic politics, the poor existing social investment and, the most important, tired of the impunity and of the corruption, were inspired for a deep and substantial change by the destinations of the Salvadoran people. Although it is true – and it is necessary to be a person in charge with this - of this percentage they not all him were betting on the change offered by the party that gained the electoral contest, but yes a considerable part of them. It is difficult to analyze on what another exchange rate he was betting a big part of the population; perhaps for them there was no third route or a preferential option and obedient to the campaign of the fear they voted for Sand.
The electoral proposals of the FMLN and of the current president were based on the knowledge of the economic reality of the country on that moment; that is to say, any world, with some exceptions – as the ex-president Saca - he was suspecting that our country was walking badly economically, but nobody was auguring the magnitude of the disastrous reality.
After selling to the world a country without risks and without worries, a revenue country comes up, we wake up one March 16 with a new El Salvador and with a new elect president who inspired to an entire country with his brilliant speech, with a civic and patriotic fervor from which the best thing was still to come; but also with a group who was laughing at the possibility of this future, which began to teach the sketches of a country in ruins: lapidary!
Undoubtedly, the first part of the change is to have chosen a president who has many adversities that to confront, but that has a village fighter who will accompany it for the fixed footpath of extracting to the country of the hole where it is. A party with a historical struggle that gives him the necessary experience to fight with an opposition that he will be in charge of demanding what they neither could wanted to do in 20 years. There is not he doubts that it is the claim and the preferential option for the godforsaken ones.

The new government must not lose of sight the mistakes and defeats of the neoliberal system, not to commit the same errors, and to bet him more on the solidarity, the social investment and on a social economy of market. It is the golden opportunity to demonstrate to him to the Salvadoran people that the whole struggle life was not in vain and that inside the progressive lines there are honest, capable and honorable persons, to serve to the people as the real beginning of the party demands it in the power.
Thanks to the governmental and institutional lies, we lost the opportunity of which the change began before March. One voted for an assembly that gave him the opportunity to the right of closing lines against the people and of happening to be an iron opposition, not in favor of the freedoms – as hypocritically they proclaim it - but against the popular will to see such a long-awaited realized change.
The results of the deputies' elections: we do not have a suitable General District attorney of the Republic, there is no solution in the selection of the magistrates of the Court, there is not seen the way of reforming the electoral code, guilty partly of the unpopular appointment of the president of the Assembly, and, to change, putting mail pieces to "reinforce" the bureaucrats who abused his positions and who stopped and threatened used at his{your} pleasure, but that now it is necessary to protect them.
Will they have all these aspirations to be relegated up to a new electoral round that chooses a new legislative assembly?
We will have to wait, now, three more years to consolidate the second part of the engaged change. And this change will not come already by half and with fear, because it will be the new Salvadoran people, a people with political ripeness, which will be in charge of choosing to a more serious and responsible legislative and municipal class, but especially more united with the majorities. In the next legislative elections: We cannot be wrong!
