His target, he says, is double. On one hand, to help to that the Latin Americans are more visible and, for other one, that other communities that form the American social textile know the contribution of the Hispanics to the country.
“ If we do not interfere, they will not see us like an active population who does the difference at the time of voting, and will not see us when the laws have to change”, he adds.
Olivas admits that with the President Obama the Latin Americans have done big advances, but it is not sufficient, and the ball is in proper field. “Now we are in a better position if we take into consideration what Sonia Sotomayor has spent with the jueza, for example. But we have to be more active helping us. It is very important. We must insure ourselves in becoming visible and having a voice that he speaks for those who have no voice”, he emphasizes.
For it, Olives it is involved by two political organizations, Hispanic Democratic Club, which he thinks about how to form future leaders and whose gala is October 5, and Youth Latino Movement, who was born then that volunteers of the campaign of Obama wanted to keep on working for the Latin community.

Schools with special schedule
