The organization Help Save Maryland rushed forward again at the immigrant community and summoned to a community meeting to propose measurements against the undocumented persons and to accuse and to criticize the work that realizes House of Maryland, as well as the support that receives from the authorities of the state and of the county of Montgomery.

“ We are not interested in debating with this group of hate, we are not also going to face his charges soeses because our mission is to work and to help the immigrant community”, pointed out Gustavo Torres.
“ It is not the first time that they accuse to us of terrorists and of racists because only we serve to the Latin Americans. We push incisively the committed crimes back come where from they avenge and we have a lot of work that to do in favor of our community”, he added Towers.
Between the recommendations that Help Save presented Maryland there are to deny the access to the driver's licenses to the undocumented persons and to implement the Real one GO, to cut the allocation of funds for House of Maryland, to authorize the police so that they act like immigration agents, to do of English the official language, between other measurements.

A new regulation published officially by the Service of Immigration and Citizenship (USCIS, for his initials in English) will allow to the immigrants protected under the visas "T" and "U" to fit his migratory status and to obtain the permanent residence without going out of the country.
The status of not immigrant type "T" known also like the visa "T" was created to offer protection of immigration to victims of severe forms of human trafficking. The visa "U" is designed to offer a migratory cover to the victims of certain crimes who have suffered some type of physical and/or mental abuse and at the same time they represent pieces fix for the police in the investigation of the criminal activity.
The Congresó created this visas under the law Protection for Victims of Violence and Human trafficking in 2000. The target of the law is to strengthen the skills of the police, detectives and other officials of the order to investigate and to process cases related to domestic violence, sexual assault, persons' traffic, between other crimes. But, at the same time it offers protection to the victims of the crimes in mention and this way the authorities can serve better to persons of the immigrant community who turn into victims of some crime.
