Gustavo Torres, executive director of House of Maryland

“We are not going to face the charges of groups of hate”

Brad Botwin (Der), the director of Help Save Maryland demanded that He Marries of Maryland facilitate a list with the names of the persons to whom it serves and they protested against the centers of workpeople. Along with him Tom Fitton, representative of an organization against the sanctums creation.

The organization Help Save Maryland rushed forward again at the immigrant community and summoned to a community meeting to propose measurements against the undocumented persons and to accuse and to criticize the work that realizes House of Maryland, as well as the support that receives from the authorities of the state and of the county of Montgomery.
In a meeting where the epithets abounded against the Hispanic community, cataloguing to all of criminals, the Latin presence shone for his absence. At the meeting only the Hispanic resident one was present of Silver Spring, who could not believe what was discussed.
“ I have never been the so racist assembled people. The persons were well angry and it scared me. They were speaking badly about our culture and they see all of us as criminal”, it expressed to Washington Hispanic, Mónica Buitrago, the resident one of Silver Spring of Colombian origin, the only Latin one that informed of the meeting summoned by Help Save Maryland.
“ It was a sorrow that nobody has come from House of Maryland because they realize an excellent work and must demonstrate it before these persons. I believe that it is necessary that they listen to more Latin voices in this type of meetings to defend us from false accusations”, added Buitrago.
For his part Gustavo Torres, executive director of House of Maryland showed that his organization is not ready to debate, to discuss with this group of persons “anti quite”.
“ We are not interested in debating with this group of hate, we are not also going to face his charges soeses because our mission is to work and to help the immigrant community”, pointed out Gustavo Torres.
“ It is not the first time that they accuse to us of terrorists and of racists because only we serve to the Latin Americans. We push incisively the committed crimes back come where from they avenge and we have a lot of work that to do in favor of our community”, he added Towers.
Between the recommendations that Help Save presented Maryland there are to deny the access to the driver's licenses to the undocumented persons and to implement the Real one GO, to cut the allocation of funds for House of Maryland, to authorize the police so that they act like immigration agents, to do of English the official language, between other measurements.
“ Police officer will not work
with the ICE
On the worry generated between the immigrant community that resides in the state of Maryland if the police also will join counties as Prince Williams in the implmentación of an agreement with the Office of Immigration and customs Control (I HOISTED, for his initials in English), Gustavo Torres and the police of Montgomery made sure that definitely they are not going to work with Immigration.
“ In the county of Montgomery, Prince George's, Baltimore, Howard and the city of Baltimore does not go away to spend any collaboration law between migrates and the police. This is not the way of solving the problem”, Gustavo Torres finished.
