The First Lady, Michelle Obama was the manager of cutting the traditional tape of opening of a new health center in Bowling Green, Virginia.

Thanks to a donation for 1.2 million dollars groups of Latin young people between 14 and 21 years receive training, in 22 ciudadades, on wide band, technology of advanced post and his practical application inside his communities.
The participants of the program Digital Connector learn to put in network computing laboratories, connect wireless access points, design modules of computer training and develop projects of social communication, what will induce them to use to the maximum the technology of wide and Internet band in his communities. Also, they receive training on financial management, managerial initiatives, the civil duties and it introduces the principal values of leadership and integral and professional formation.
As part of the program the young people donates his time inside his communities, be already in community organizations, churches and even in your own hearths to improve and to encourage the digital literacy.
Of equal way the participants interact with the personnel of Comcast, who act like mentors of this new generation of technological leaders that is growing.
Until now, approximately 3.000 young people has contributed more than 56.000 hours of community service across the initiative of Digital Connectors.

The candidate for the Democratic Party for Governor of the State of Virginia, Creigh Deeds, achieved last Wednesday, the 29th the important support of the Region Atlantic Ocean Head office of the National Union of Workpeople of North America (LIUNA, for his initials in English).
In a press conference in which Deeds was present, the managers and members of this organization that assembles more than 700.000 affiliates in the whole country, they announced publicly the endorsement to the above mentioned candidacy, after pointing out that “he coincides basically with our engagement book”.
“ For example, senator Deeds supports the reform of health that the president Obama defends”, affirmed Hugo Carvallo, president of the Local Trade union 11, which corresponds to the area of Virginia. LIUNA promised to obtain hundreds of volunteers for the Deeds campaign, “with groups of workpeople and his relatives who will go out, especially the weekends, in search of votes, door for door, in most of the counties of Virginia”, as said Dennis Martire, Vice-president of the Region Central Atlantic Ocean of the organization.
