Young people defies Chávez

Approximately 163 university students of 11 cities are supported in hunger strike to press the General Secretary of the OEA, José Miguel Insulza, so that it interyields before the government and the visit is allowed to the country of a commission to evaluate the situation of the human rights and of the called "political prisoners".

Some demonstrators in the oriental state Anzoátegui carried to extremes on Wednesday the protest after part of his lips was sewed, according to images that the channel of news Globovisión spread.
“ This is not any circus”, he declared the press Arellano on having rejected the affirmation that there realized on Wednesday the Education Secretary, Héctor Navarro, who considered the strike to be a “assembly mediático” that looks for the "destabilization".
Arellano pointed out that the young people will support the protest until of a “international answer on the problem of the human rights”, and the Inter-American Commission of Human rights (CIDH) “takes part on the problem” closely of 39 opponents that it is supported arrested accused of such crimes like “alteration of the public order”, “serious injuries” to police officers and “instigation to commit an offense”.
“ The only thing for that we ask is that José Miguel Insulza declares himself, that the CIDH is pronounced, and that (Insulza) requests the permission the Venezuelan government to enter the country”, said 21-year-old Jorge Márquez, who is one of 10 university students who initiated the hunger strike on September 24 opposite to the OEA.
Of the group of alone Márquez he remains four young people because six of his partners were extracted in ambulance between Tuesday and Wednesday after descompensarse by the long fasting period.

The tropical thunderstorm Ketsana caused floods in the capital and bordering areas that affected the housings of almost 1,9 million persons the weekend.
The president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo admitted that it remained overwhelmed, but it clarified that it was doing everything what was to his scope to help.
In the nearby Vietnam, Ketsana caused the death of at least 23 persons.
The overwhelmed authorities have asked for international help, warning that they might lack enough resources to resist another thunderstorm, which according to the meteorologists is located to the east of the nation archipelago and it might strike it even this Friday, the 2nd of October.
