The president Hugo Chávez affirmed on Thursday, the 22nd that of losing the referendum on the constitutional amendment, which foresees the unlimited presidential reelection, will go away of the political life on having concluded his order in 2013.
With qualifying five-peseta coins against his opponents and opened praises to the proposal of constitutional amendment, Chávez made début on Thursday as columnist in the local press, in the middle of the electoral campaign for the referendum on the amendment that is foreseen for February 15.
In the column, which it titled like "The lines of Chávez" in memory of his juvenile times like baseball player, the Venezuelan chief did hard criticism against his opponents whom it qualified of "colonialist", and of representing "the opposite to the homeland".
Chávez exalted the proposal of constitutional amendment making sure that of being approved in the referendum "the homeland will be imposed, the Independence".
" If most of you, Venezuelans and Venezuelans, support the amendment with 'yes', then it is possible that I could continue at the head of the rudder beyond 2013", he made sure.
The leader admitted that of losing the consultation "I will go away in another February, that of 2013", on having concluded his presidential order.
" There is no any more way to achieve the Venezuelan independence that the national revolution. There is no any more way for the native nobility that this one, already tackled, of the socialism; our socialism bolivariano: The Socialistic Democracy! Another way, for which they want to take us the colonialist pitiyanquis, would condemn to our country to the disability, to the smallness and to the historical grave", he added.
The Department of Communication said in a writing that Chávez will publish his column on Tuesdays, Thursday and Sundays of every week, in 28 private newspapers – the regional national one and the rest - emulating this way to his Cuban allied strait, Fidel Castro.
The government did not add if the publication will be a full notice or if the newspapers will spread the column of free form.
Eleazar Díaz Rangel, the director of the of the capital newspaper Last News, said to the AP that his way decided to give a "journalistic space" to Chávez of free form.
" With us they spoke (the government) and we put a few conditions, which age the space, how many characters", he added.
Díaz Rangel informed that he agreed, part of his publishing politics, "to give Last News like the same space to the opposition", which will have also a column of opinion that will be published on Mondays, Wednesday and Friday.
The initiative

Chávez was elect for the first time in December, 1998. After the constituent process of 2000, the chief was ratified in his charge at the end of this year to govern for six years.
In December, 2006 Chávez achieved the reelection for an additional period that concludes in February, 2013.
The current Constitution only allows the immediate reelection for an additional period.
