Rodrigo Rosenberg, a lawyer murdered on Sunday, the 10th, accused the president of Guatemala, Alvaro Colom, of arranging his death, in a video spread on the following day.
" My name is Rodrigo Rosenberg and regrettably if you see this message it is because I was murdered by the president Alvaro Colom with the help of (his private secretary) Gustavo Alejos and mister Gregorio Valdez", affirmed Rosenberg in the message distributed between the mass media.
The message was recorded before it was riddled from a vehicle on Sunday while it was going for a walk in bicycle in a residential area of the south of the capital.
The person who appears in the video and his voice "it is that of Rodrigo Rosenberg", admitted in a telephone conversation the ex-minister of government Adela de Torrebiarte, who met him when this was a dean of the faculty of right of the University Rafael Landívar.
For his part, the president Colom asked a commission of United Nations and the FBI to investigate the accusations of the murdered lawyer.

" I do not know the motives, the origin, which they motivated or led the Bachelor Rosenberg to recording the video", it showed on Monday in press conference.
He added that the engraved material contains elements that are included in a destabilization campaign against his government which existence has denounced previously. "Each of the topics are. I discredit it completely", added Colom.
It supported that "first I am not killer, the second, I am not a drug trafficker and everything what (Rosenberg) says there it is completely out of sense”.
Colom has met from Monday evening several ambassadors credited in Guatemala. In the appointment with Stephen McFarland, American ambassador, he asked for the participation of the FBI in the investigation of the murder and the creation of the video. The embassy did not confirm if the request was done or if the FBI is going to take part in fact.

Rosenberg accused that would have been murdered for there was lawyer of the businessman Khalil Musa and his daughter Marjorie, murdered in March. The murder of the businessman, added Rosenberg, was for refusing to take part in supposed acts of corruption in which the relatives of the president invited him in the bank semi state Banco de Desarrollo Rural.
In the outskirts of the Presidential House, familiar and Rosenberg friends protested against the murder. The demonstrators occupied approximately 50 meters of the street opposite to the government house.
Meanwhile, hundreds of Guatemalans with access to Internet showed his indignation for the supposed Colom link to the crime. In Facebook, more than 5.300 persons joined the group "Close Guatemalans we ask for the resignation of Alvaro Colom". The access to Internet in the country is still limited to urban centers.

The Pope Benedicto XVI, opposite to the cradle of the Christianity, he affirmed on Wednesday, the 13th that supports the Palestinians in his search of a sovereign territory and offered his firmest public support till now in favor of the foundation of the Palestinian state.
