Thirty two persons died and 155 remained hurt in clashes between the police and natives, indicated this week the president of the Cabinet of Peru, Yehude Simon.
Of the deceased, 24 are police officers and five natives in addition to four civil ones. Thirteen of 23 agents were murdered in The Curve of the Devil, in the forest district of Bagua, where seven of them were attacked by spears and others six with firearms.
