The singer and actress Barbra Streisand and actor Morgan Freeman got, along with other artists, a homage for the achievements obtained in his careers and his contributions to the American culture.
Both were honored in the traditional gala of Kennedy Center of Washington, at which the president George W was present. Bush, and who will be re-transmitted by television on December 30.
In addition to two actors, in this edition of the gala, which adds up already 31 years, there were honored the legend of the music "country music" George Jones, the choreographer Twyla Tharp, and the founders of "The Who", Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey.

Madonna gained a demand against a British tabloide to whom it accused of violating his rights of privacy and of author on having published images of his wedding of 2000 with Guy Ritchie.
The star of American pop, who alleges that an interior decorator stole the photos of his house from him in Beverly Hills, California, search that the publishing house of the newspaper Mail on Sunday pays a compensation to him for damages for 7,5 million dollars.

" They stretched an ambush for the simple reason that, if the Mail on Sunday had said his plans to him, the claimant would have looked and obtained a judicial order" to stop them, pointed out Nicklin.
According to the lawyer the newspaper paid 7.500 dollars for the photos.
Associated Newspapers, which the Mail on Sunday publishes, did not express comments about the decision of the court immediately.
Nicklin said that the photographer Jean-Baptiste Mondino took the only pictures of the wedding and one gave them to Madonna like obsequiousness. Madonna placed them in an album that it supported in the privacy of his hogar.s.
