Carlos Joaquín - I believe that I am simply a human being that there is never tratato of feigning what is not and I am not showing another side of the currency to the people … because it is said that what is seen is not wondered by him. Nevertheless, I am opening rather my soul, undressing it and am showing there flush with skin, flush with lip not alone to the woman that he lives in every man, but to this personality that exists in each of the human beings who do not exploit for the fear of the one that they will say and keep on living inside the closet.
Nelly - now when Carlos Joaquin went out of the closet: whom has it passed?
Carlos Joaquín - The truth is that it has not passed him to anybody, because Carlos Joaquín, in the last decade has always been out of the closet. There are persons who ask you for your sexual orientation, there are others who for fear do not even ask you. But I believe that there is nothing of villain, on having shouted him to the world, and it is not even necessary to shout it, they say that, truth does not shout, if not that convinces. I have the skill like being a human being of falling in love the same of a man or of a woman. In this case I have decided to fall in love with a man because I like. Then I live passionately and surrender to my homosexuality as such. Nevertheless, beyond transforming me into the whole woman I use my sexuality in the stage, to be who truly I am.

Nelly - Or that you are “a Pure candle”.
Carlos Joaquín - if, I am a pure candle in the stage, but also pure candle that vibrates inside me. I believe that the men can have the sensibility of the woman or the woman can have the character and the domain and the leadership of a man.
Nelly: where from do you inherit this artistic vein?
Carlos Joaquín - I Believe that I inherited this artistic vein from my dad, who always wanted to be an actor and to he to one did not give the opportunity, but as we were never growing it stopped being the same. If it had to start dancing in the street in a festival it was doing it, while my mom saw it from the corner, because he was saying that it was disgracing and we were always following the steps to him because it was giving us grace. From there this actor's line comes to me.
Nelly - During your show the people did not stop being surprised, laughing. But also there was drama and moments in which we did not know if you were counting your history. When you speak about the Church or about your dismissal. Was all that real?
Carlos Joaquín - 95 % of my show is a reality and 5 % left it in doubt, most of the histories were true and based on real experiences. I resigned from my work for love, my demurrage of being employed at the television channel was finished because I gave cause to support a relation. I very few times have fallen in love like that. I believe that this is the only time in the life that someone has touched me the "core" of my heart, someone for whom I was ready to leave everything … I am a hardened lover.

Carlos Joaquín - I think that it loves one often, but there are loves that mark you. In my case it lasted the time that had to last, any more I do not repent. Many people think that for love it is not worth while. I believe the opposite, I took the decisions that it had to take consciously of the consequences and I am happy, believe that if it had to do it again it would do it.

Nelly: did you suffer very much?
Carlos Joaquín - We Suffer the two, he could not give any more, and I believe that it was not because he did not want.
