"Dear friends:
22 years ago I entered the seminar, convinced that God called me to share Jesus's priesthood. I have had very happy moments and moments of big tests, but in spite of everything, that God still calls me and have to listen to it.

In fact, I have said to my nearest friends and collaborators that "this year was the most difficult of my life"; seeing so many unpleasant situations through that priests have lived my brothers - inside and out of Miami. Perhaps knowing so many things of the institution and in so many places, they have made me more sensitive to all this pain and the need that has the Church of reforming.
