As priest and personal friend of the Father Alberto Cutié, invited all the Latin American Catholics America and to my brothers priests that we offer this Sunday the intentions of the masses, the crown of the compassion and the holy rosary for the well-being of the Father Alberto. If we have the opportunity I hope let's write notes of support and prayers for the Father Alberto. As to be a human being with all the criticism and the news must be living through difficult moments and of Calvary. Rafael Escalona, one of the biggest composers and interpreters of vallenato, died on Wednesday, the 13th after two weeks were hospitalized by a cancer. He was 81 years old.
The composer was suffering from prostate cancer and was hospitalized for 14 days in a clinic of the north of Bogota, said Rafael Escalona son.
“ He died... of a respiratory unemployment”, he reported in telephone conversation.
Born in the town of Patillal, in the department of Stopping, to the north of Colombia on May 27, 1927, It Staggers it was the seventh one of nine brothers and he composed his first song at the age of 15.
