The refrain of the song “Sick with love”, of Panamanian Nando Boom, is the origin of a judicial process that it supports to the world of the hanging reguetón and to the Puerto Rican stars of the genre, Don Omar and the duo Wisin and Yandel, against the ropes.
In 2008, a penal demand presented by Nando Boom in Panama against singers Juan Morera Luna and Llandel Veguilla (Wisin and Yandel), William Omar Ladrón (Don Omar) and his respective producers, Eliel Lind Osorio and Josías De La Cruz, for the supposed plagiarism of the topic generated an enormous fuss in the world of the reguetón.
The case has been revived again this week by decision of the judge in charge of the cause, Rolando Quesada.
The magistrate ordered to the Public Department of Panama to extend the investigations for the crime of violation of the copyright and to obtain the investigatory declaration of “Don Omar“, as well as that of Lind Osorio and De La Cruz, that they have not appeared.
The District attorney's office already investigated Wisin and Yandel when these visited Panama, more than one year ago, to expire with an artistic presentation.
The district attorney Ramiro Esquivel taken charge of the case, said to the journalists that he will send a new request of judicial assistance to the authorities of the USA and Puerto Rico so that “Don Omar“ and two producers produce investigatory declaration.

I am grateful to you that you speak for the good of my Mrs. (who is a big woman Ruhama Buni Canellis of Cutié) that is being attacked all the steals. And for my family. The truth: We were coming of being with my 41-year-old cousin who died of cancer... on Saturday. Ruhama and I pray with her and with all my family that was very affected. But this is every day...
