To be a part of this nation, of the United States of America, has turned for tens years into the meaning of life of million persons of all parts of the world. In last two centuries diverse waves of the people have struck the grounds that were promising steadfastness and future. The achievement of this sleep that throws roots of the native soil to transplant them in the engaged ground, is a summit that every million of Latin Americans they dare to climb. As spectators generally we concentrate on the base and on the top, and tend to ignore the time, the space, the tear and the tears that this deep steep climb produces. This is, “Another side of a sleep”, also the title of the new local cinematographic production responsible for Latin Average International Inc in association with the academy IMA and Directed by Roberto Catacora.“ Another Side of a sleep “(2009) focuses and praises this space between the past and the present of the passage of an immigrant anchored in the capital of the United States.
