Into the world in which we live, in which they all seem to do one “face lift” or a “tommy tuck” or certain surgical intervention, we have to admit it. Also we needed one. Washington Hispanic was born almost 15 years ago. To come where we are it has not been easy, but thanks to your support, our readership, we have turned into the eyes and the ears of the community, documenting happening Latin American that you read every week.

The redesign project started almost one year ago, before the need to inform us with the modern journalism. The modern life advances and evolves to an impressive rapidity and the truth is that we did not have another option to renew us and to put ourselves at a height of the best newspapers of Latin America and, why not to say it, of the western hemisphere.

Our new image has been very well planned, created by one of the best teams of experts in the matter. The colors have been selected taking into consideration many factors, especially our lectoría. Simultaneously, we have implemented a modern typography, of easy reading and comprehension. The graphic resources, as it will be possible to observe, will give him more dynamism to our pages, with the target to create more coherence between the different sections of Washington Hispanic.

As in any surgery, we believe that newly we go out of the operating theater with this redesign and do not wait for an immediate reaction. We understand that once one agrees the dust and the emotion of this new throwing, we will continue in his hands, simultaneously of managing new readership in the newest generations of Latin Americans of the metropolitan area.

We hope that the hard work that the whole team of Washington Hispanic has put should be of his taste. We are opened for congratulations, but also for criticism and suggestions. Anyway, we exist for you and for you and want that our image reflects that of our Latin community.
