There is no sports sphere in which the women are not leaving his mark, and the boxing is not an exception.
The popularity of Kina Malpartida, the Peruvian world champion who has turned into a masses phenomenon, comes to give him an extra dimension to the sport of the handles. And in a few days, September 26 in Patriot Center, it will be possible to see in action the local boxeadora of Manassas, Jennifer Salinas, to face Caitlin Dance (2-5, 1 KO) in a combat to six assaults.
With eight years of experience, a professional record of 10 gained fights, a loss and three KO, and a group of mentors with names of the size of Floyd Mayweather Sr and Lawrence “Bad to the Bones” Jones, Jennifer Salinas is considered to be one of the most promising brochures of the feminine boxing.
But not only that, Salinas has two small children and a beauty that has gained him the nickname of the “Bolivian Queen”.
Although in the beginning the alone idea of seeing two women fighting on blows was provoking adverse feelings, today it is a reality accepted even by the head of the World Council of the Boxing, José Sulaimán, who knew of the fight of Salinas and allowed to know his seeming.

Salinas admits that, in the beginning, there was exploited the sexual side of the feminine boxing, but with the time the attacking ones took with more professionalism his combats and, even, today they do not have anything that to envy to his counterparts masculine in terms of boxing skill.
“ Earlier there were attacking many that were showing great skin and then they were doing photos for Playboy, for example. There were models boxing and throwing blows like ‘women‘, without skill. But then they begun being prepared better, and now the skill is very good, not at all that to envy him to that of the men”, says Salinas.
Anyway, the appearance of Salinas has led that, sometimes, some persons do pranks to him or do not take it seriously for his work. “Sometimes they say to me that I do not seem boxeadora because I do not have the flat nose, or the people do mockery to me and they ask me a right to throw them, for example. What I can do is to smile and to be respectful, but other times I feel bad because I feel that they do not respect me like professional athlete”.
And very professional it is, his last fight gained it for KO, doing that the specializing press considers her to be a boxeadora with options to achieve a world featherweight title up to end of year. In fact, Salinas is training hard with this target, thanks to his sponsors Max Muscle de Mannasas and the gymnasia THE Boxing.
But earlier it must face Caitlin Dance, which with his almost six feet high will be a challenge for the 5 ’3 " of Salinas. “Number two is in the nation in the ránking. If one brings over me it will be one of the most difficult fights that I have had, for his advantage in height”.
