To do a program loaded with nostalgia was in this opportunity the missive of In Series that along with a select cast will present the spectacle of titled cabaret “Puerto Rico, My Love”.
As his name indicates it that the spectacle directed by Abel López and the musician José Luis Cáceres is an evocation of the traditional Puerto Rican topics. Who has not sung, danced and dreamed of topics like “Capullito of Wallflower”, “Cachita“, “Now we will be happy”, between other songs. This will be a magnificent opportunity to do a trip for the musical history of Puerto Rico and that in certain way they have turned in anthems not only for the Puerto Rican ones but also for the Latin-American public in general.
“ With this spectacle we try to like to the whole world with topics from “My Old Saint John”, up to the popular full ones”, it points out Washington Hispanic, José Luis Cáceres.
“I live out of the Island and bring a different concept for being a classic musician, but the nostalgia and the feeling are always present”, he added Caceres.
“ Puerto Rico, My Love”, it is a cabaret spectacle with the magisterial interpretation of singer Anamer Castrello that there assembles music, poetry and tropical rhythms. Also there take part Philip Bender, Blanca Ivelisse-González, Jessica Phillippi, Andrés Talero and Orlando Cotto in the percussion, all under the baton of the Puerto Rican pianist José Luis Cáceres.
“ I bring a new concept to the table and wish the public lover of the Puerto Rican music to come to amuse himself, to remember and why not, to sing with us,”, makes sure the pianist.
“ I believe that the melodies and the rhythm are two props of our music what has done that it is admired on a global scale”, he makes sure Caceres.
