After a successful period where there paraded the most out-standing companies of theater of countries like Peru, Argentina, Uruguay, Spain, Paraguay and Dominican Republic, XI International Festival of Theater of the Theater of The Moon comes to his end and closes the curtain with the presentation of the work “The doubt” that represents Venezuela.
Of the company I.E. Productions C.A., “The doubt” of the playwright John Patrick Shanley counts with the extraordinary performance of Elba to Sweep, who visits again Washington, DC, and the House of the Moon for delight of his public.
Under the guidance of Matilda Corral “The doubt” it is considered that a dramatic comedy presents a universal problem in a polemic, revealing text, without gestures. Subjects, objects and witnesses of an act of paedophilia in a nuns' school in Caracas. “The doubt” gained the award Pulitzer 2005 where it was catalogued like “… excellent casting … a forceful spectacle … one of the best assemblies of 2007”, according to the critic Luis Alberto Rosas.
With this work one dismisses XI International Festival of the Theater of The Moon that like all the year gave to his public a varied and very rich repertoire that brought to his stage out-standing Latin-American talents.
