Changeling
March, 1928. Los Angeles / Christine Collins (Angelina Jolie) is an operator. Left years ago by his husband, his son Walter occupies all his time. One evening, they call Christine of the work for trabaje in the phones head office, so Walter remains alone at home, a little sadly.
When Christine Collins returns, Walter is not. There is not even a track, there is nothing. The Police do everything what can, but it does not find it. The police of Los Angeles neither want nor assume the fact that Walter could be very far of Los Angeles; they wash their hands, and to the change first one, when there appears a child, an any, missing and looked child; they do it to themselves almost to adopt Mrs. Collins. The hell through that this woman lives along with this child who is not his son Walter proves durísimo. It is the Shepherd of the Presbyterian Church, Gustav Briegleb (John Malkovich) who in a radio program turns out to be the Christine's biggest support. Christine does not give up, and although his quiet mouth makes him spend the unspeakable thing, under a tremendous cruelty for not accepting to the child that the Police have delivered him, Christine demonstrates an unbreakable fortitude. The ending has a history behind very cruel. He remembered me in some strokes of Mystic River, but I affect again in this capacity that Eastwood has not to begin to judge the history that in Christine's tears remains already indelible in the cinematographic retina.
