Although it was awaited news, the throwing caused big impact to the market of Lexus HS250h, the first completely hybrid luxurious motorcar of the manufacturer Toyota.
The expectation for this model is so big that only until the day of the presentation, last Tuesday, the 14th, Toyota had already received more than three thousand orders, as informed the Japanese press.
The same sources indicated that Toyota hopes to sell approximately 500 monthly units of the new model, bearing in mind that the market of the hybrids and the motorcars of low consumption are in full expansion thanks to the stimuli of the government of the Japan.

In the presentation ceremony there spoke the new president of Toyota Motors, Akio Toyoda, who announced that the hybrid Lexus HS250 will be to the sale in the Toyota-Lexus concessionaires in the United States and Canada in two months, from next September. An initial production of three thousand units has been estimated to the month, which will be increasing the same way as advance the sales on these longed markets.
His characteristics
This luxurious hybrid is provided with an engine of two liters and a half and develops a 10 liters consumption for every 140 miles (approximately 230 kilometers). Concerning prices, they informed that the simplest model will sell for approximately 42 thousand 577 dollars in Japan. His sale price is not known in the USA.
The new one HS250h – whose initials HS correspond to “Harmonious Sedan“ (Harmonious Sedan) - it is “green“ from his foundations, since in his manufacture it used a type of ecological plastic with vegetable base for certain internal parts of the vehicle and his components.
