Rebellious and controversial as always, the African archbishop, Emmanuel Milingo, reappeared after months of enclaustramiento in Washington, DC, where last Sunday, the 24th – “Day of the Virgin of the Mercedes”, according to the catholic liturgy - it informed a ceremony of arrangement of four married bishops, one of them of Hispanic origin.
The Church answered immediately and the proper Pope Benedicto XVI confirmed the automatic excommunication of Milingo, of 76 years of age, who is an emeritus archbishop of Lusaka, Zambia, and to that it is considered “the most charismatic representative of the African Church, exorcist and healer”.
It is a question of the severest sorrow that foresees the Catholic Church for a believer. Also there were excommunicated four "bishops", who were raised "illegally" to this dignity, according to the cánones of the Catholic Church, since only the pontiff can arrange bishops.
Monsignor Emmanuel Milingo "is in an irregular condition and, clearly, the communion is breaking progressively with the Church", it pointed out the bulletin spread by the Holy See last Tuesday, the 26th.
" There is in progress 'scomunica latae sententiae' (judgment of excommunication) foreseen by the article 1382 of the Code of the Canon law", he adds the bulletin, for what the archbishop does not need to be judged previously.
Four religious ones "arranged" by Milingo are Peter Paul Brennan, of the city of New York; Patrick Trujillo, of Newark (New Jersey), Joseph Gouthro, of Las Vegas (Nevada) and George Augustus Stallings Jr., of Washington, DC.
All of them are part of the international movement: “Priests Married Now!” (“Married Priest Now"), founded in last July precisely for the excommunicated archbishop Milingo.
In The Vatican
The bulletin of the Holy See, spread in The Vatican, informed that “representatives of several levels of the Church tried to contact in vain the archbishop Milingo to dissuade it from keeping on provoking scandals, what affects first of all the faithful who continue it in his pastoral work of assistance to the poor and the patients".
Also, he admits that "it has continued with living worry" the recent Milingo behavior, especially after it founded an association of married priests, with which "he sows division and uncertainty" between the faithful, he added the official bulletin.
Milingo jumped to the fame after unleashing a scandal in 2001 inside the Catholic Church on having married Korean Maria Sung of the sect Moon. Nevertheless, on the following year it returned to his religious activity on having informed a solemn mass in an abbey located close to Zagarolo, to the east of Rome.
In this opportunity, Milingo apologized to the Pope Juan Pablo II, for his errors, and should have spent a year of atonement and spiritual retirement in a religious house of Argentina to order of the ecclesiastic authorities.
“We want a married clergy”

Gilberto and Miguel Rodríguez Orejuela, ex-chiefs of once band bigger drug trafficker of the world, the cartel of Cali, were condemned to 30 years of prison in a federal court of Miami last Tuesday, the 26th, after admitting to have exported more than 200.000 kilos of cocaine to the United States.

Separated agreement
The agreement puts final point to a judicial battle that spread for almost two years without taking to judgment who the administration Bush considered the most important drug traffickers never stopped in an American prison.
The guilt admissions "indicate the last and fatal blow to the powerful cartel of Cali. There will always be other traffickers and they will continue the challenges for the authorities, but this is a day of pride for the people of Colombia and the international authorities of law and order", said the general district attorney, Alberto Gonzáles.
The admission of the drug traffickers was possible thanks to another separated agreement signed between the District attorney's office and 28 relatives of the bosses in Colombia, who accepted to deliver more than 300 companies in which they have interest, in exchange for the fact that they allow them to preserve some properties and extract them of the so called "List Clinton", that freezes goods of terrorists and international drug traffickers, and his relatives or companies.
Heir sank them
The brothers were extradited to the United States between 2004 and 2005, after an investigation of the federal authorities that lasted 14 years, it confiscated more 50.000 kilos of cocaine, 15 million dollars and accused almost 100 persons.
The agreement finishes a judicial saga that began at the end of 2004 with Gilberto's extradition to the United States - and of Miguel months more late - which included difficulties of both lawyers were financed deprived for not having "clean" money to pay to them.

It depends on the jury
The Anglo-Saxon jury consisted of 5 men and 7 women, is listening attentively to the testimonies of both parts, between them, that of the mother of the child Kyle, Renne Lazarchika, who initially had said that they were trusting in Ada Beatriz, that they were considering it to be a part of the family, but now it has shown, that in the hospital it found some bruises in the cuerpecito of his baby.
Ada Cuadros faces the whole rigor of the law, in the state like Texas, which is very drastic when the case involves the death of a person, but in a special way when it is a question of a six-year-old age minor.
Of being found culprit, Ada Beatriz Cuadros Fernández, might face the death penalty or spend the rest of his days in prison.
