With his made career bits, the governor of Illinois Rod Blagojevich stuck challenging to the power, ignoring called of the elect president Barack Obama whom he resigns and a warning that the democrats of the Upper House will not allow him to nominate a new senator for the state.

" Everybody is asking for his head", affirmed Barbara Flynn Currie, a democratic leader in the Senate of Illinois, as the governor.

Blagojevich was arrested on Tuesday, the 9th accused of looking for money and other favors in exchange for the nomination of the substitution of Obama in the Senate. It faces the unlawful assembly charge to commit fraud, which bears a maximum sorrow of 20 years in prison, and of requesting bribes, which are even punished with 10 years of jail.
The governor recovered his freedom after the payment of a deposit and he has denied to have committed any crime.

In his office

Sheltered in his office of the center of Chicago, Blagojevich did not give any sign of that he was considering to resign, and finished his spokeswoman, Kelley Quinn, to say that it was "attending to matters as of custom" in his suite of 16to I tread.

Obama resigned from his banking in the Senate after gaining the presidency. For law, the governor chooses the person that elect president will replace to now in the Upper House.

" The elect president agrees... that under the current circumstances it is difficult for the governor to do his work really and to serve to the people of Illinois", affirmed the spokesman of Obama, Robert Gibbs.
To to wonder him on this matter, Gibbs said that Obama believes that the term should contemplate a special election and begin "a process to choose a new senator who has the confidence of the people of Illinois".

He was looking for money

According to documents of the court, the governor tried to extract profit to his designation capacity across emissaries, enclosed trade union leaders and recollectors of funds. Blagojevich supposedly had a salary in mind – of between 250.000 and 300.000 dollars a year - and he spoke of gathering between half a million and a million dollars in political contributions

For the bench of Hillary Clinton
“León“ Kennedy throws Caroline

It took it to the altar when he married. She was with him in the hospital when a malignant tumor was detected to him in the brain.

And now, senator Edward Kennedy, while it fights the cancer at the age of 77 of age, does called phone companhies to promote the designation of his niece Caroline as senator.

A narrow relation joins both from her death of the father, John F. Kennedy, a brother whom Edward Kennedy has treated of emulating from 1963.

The Kennedy efforts so that Caroline remains with the banking that vacant Hillary Rodham Clinton will leave on having taken up office like State Department go beyond the personal relation between both: it is an opportunity to perpetuate the familiar legacy of the Kennedy in the politics, which began when Caroline's father came to the Senate in 1952.
Edward Kennedy still preserves the office of his brother in the rear part of the Senate, however much it would have right to a banking in the first line for being the second one in antiquity in this camera.

In addition to Caroline Kennedy, also there is mentioned the attorney of justice of New York, Andrew Cuomo, and to other figures as Clinton's possible successors in the Senate.

Edward Kennedy has spoken with the person who will designate the successor, the governor of the state of New York, David Paterson. And the mayor of New York, Michael Bloomberg gave a recognition to Caroline on Monday, the 8th on having said that "it can do what is proposed".

The interest of Caroline Kennedy in the banking is a surprise, since it always proved to be unwilling to be in the candlestick of the politics.

Although everybody was speaking about her when he lived in the White House with his father, his mother Jacqueline, his brother John Jr and the pony Macaroni, the family tried to go unnoticed after the Kennedy murder.

As his children grow, nevertheless, Caroline, who today is 51 years old, he guards less zealously his intimacy and it is seen by major frequency in public acts.

This enclosed year monopolized holders when, with his "uncle Teddy" next to you, he announced that it was supporting the candidacy of Barack Obama the presidency.

Now, in the west of the career of Edward, Caroline might join him in the institution to which his uncle dedicated him 45 years. And Edward Kennedy might have the opportunity not only to teach him the same things that I teach to another novice, Hillary Clinton, when it came to the Congress in 2008, but to deliver his office to the daughter of his old proprietor, his brother.

“ We believe that the increase of points of checkup of abstinence and the patrols' saturation in strategic places they have achieved the reduction of the number of drivers who put themselves after the rudder under the influence of the alcohol or the drugs”, supported Erickson.

Nevertheless, he warned that it is necessary to work much more so that less persons handle drunkards.
“ There is still someone who is arrested for leading in the drunkenness state every 45 minutes in the metropolitan area of Washington, DC, and for that reason, now more that never, it is necessary to reinforce the alertness to fight these killers of the frill”, underlined David Robertson, executive director of the COG.

Robertson hopes that all the drivers of the region should take conscience of this fact, especially during this holidays period.
