With the challenge of minimizing the number of Hispanics who stay without being counted during the Census 2010, the Aztec foundation America realized a forum in Washington DC with the intention of assembling the representatives of the principal organizations and politicians compromised with the process.

The target was to establish relations and to join strategies to make sure that the Hispanic community should remain represented with the biggest possible accuracy in the Census that will be realized on April 1, 2010.

“ The Hispanic community must understand the importance that the being few has and taken into consideration in the census because this way a real representation is guaranteed in the Congress and that the resources come appropriately to the groups who more need it”, pointed out to Washington Hispanic, Luis J to begin, President of the Aztec Foundation America and Aztec America Network.

As part of the campaign “Because you cost, allow you to count”, the Aztec foundation America will realize a series of forums named “The state of the Latin Americans: I register 2010” yal the same time he is collaborating with the diffusion of messages directed to the Hispanic community with the intention of creating conscience on the importance of being counted in the census and they believe a confidence feeling towards the process.

“ The same Census admits that in 2000 any more than 3 million Hispanics were not counted and that has to change. I they say to the Hispanic community that they should not be afraid, should take part of the census because it is a civic and very important duty for the growth of his community”, there highlighted the president of the Aztec foundation America.

During the forum also he remembered to realize a report in charge of the University of Denver where recommendations will appear on how it is possible to improve the participation of the Latin Americans in the process of the Census.
Also the representatives of the taking part organizations like LULAC, MALDEF, NALEO, CHCI and CHLI agreed to use the strategies that were successful during the campaign to promote the Latin vote for in this opportunity to assure that the Hispanics should not stop taking part in the Census 2010.

Easy, rapid and confidential

By law established in the Constitution of the United States every 10 years a census is carried out to count every person who lives in this country, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Isles without importing if they have legal presence or not in the United States.

In this opportunity the questionnaire of the Census 2010 will be one of the shortest in the history of the United States and it will take very simple questions as a name, a sex, an age, date of birth, race, ethnic group, marital status and if it rents or is an owner of his housing.

The best way of taking part in the Census is to complete the form that will come by mail in March, 2010 and to send it for the same route. In case of not receiving the questionnaires the government is training encuestadores that will come personally to the domicile to complete the forms.

All the information that is provided for the census is confidential what means that the information is not shared by any agency of the government like Immigration or Department of Work.

Hours after antidrug traffickers announced the mobilization of a big force to themselves to operate along with Mexico in both sides of the border, the secretary of the State, Hillary Clinton, he warned on Thursday, the 26th that the bonds between the United States and Mexico face new challenges. For exactly two years, a series of testimonies induced the police to suspect that a worker identified like 28-year-old Pedro Rodr�guez, had murdered his wife 25-year-old Deysi Marlene Ben�tez, his four 9, 4, 3-year-old minor children and a year of age, before committing suicide hanging itself in his house located in Frederick (Maryland).

This week, the police of the above mentioned county confirmed this presumption, on having revealed the final scores of long inquiries, in which it used resources of last technology, with which there closed the complicated case that involved an original finished family of Sensuntepeque, El Salvador.

Meticulous analyses in laboratories determined that the mud remains recovered from the pedal of the brake of the van Mercury Villager 1998 of the family Rodr�guez-Ben�tez were similar in color, texture and mineral contents to those of the ground where the Deysi remains were discovered, on February 29, 2008, almost one year after his murder.

On March 26, 2007, the police discovered the corpses of nine-year-old Elsa; Vanesa, of four, Angel, of two, and Careening, of one. On the rail of the stairs it was hanging the body of the father, Pedro Rodr�guez. For the first time the employees servant of the county of Montgomery will celebrate his day protected by a law that not only demands the use of a contract, but also guarantees better labor conditions. On March 30 there is celebrated in 14 countries the International Day of the Domestic Employees being the county of Montgomery in the state of Maryland, the only jurisdiction in the United States that is provided with a law that protects them.
