The CHCI task

The idea is to prepare the Hispanic young people to lead the country in the future and, also, open the doors for a major Latin presence in decisive instances.
“ In 1978, when the institute was founded, one was looking that younger they had the opportunity to learn how the public politics affects the life of the persons. After 30 years, many young people has taken part in our programs, being protagonists in many excellent areas”, he adds Aerie.
Esther Aguilera says that the conference will treat topics like migratory reform and of health, education, energy, the importances of the census and of the energy sustentable, between other topics.

After almost a year of struggle, the National Meeting of Labor relations (NLRB, for his initials in English) failed in favor of the ex-workpeople of cleanliness of the complex of apartments River House, in Arlington, Virginia, who overnight remained without employment in July of last year.
Now 24 employees, mostly of Hispanic origin will recover his jobs and there will be distributed a whole for 100 thousand dollars as indemnification by the lost wages.
The problem began when Christos Cleaner Inc., a new company of cleanliness that took charge of the services of maintenance and cleanliness of the complex River House decided not to hire the ancient workpeople, who belong to the trade union of workpeople SEIU, Place 32 BJ.
This way they were avoiding the payment of higher wages and a series of benefits protected by the union.
The workpeople of the complex, many of them with more than 20 years of service with Building Service Management Incorporated (BSMI, for his initials in English) were endorsed by a contract with the union from 1963.
